just watched 'closer', with alfie, queen amidala, king arthur and tess ocean inside. k la, jude law, natalie i'm so in love with her portman, clive owen and julia roberts.

it's a new movie, about relationships and love, how four strangers, all with their own flaws just like everyone else, can fall in love so fast but then everything fucks up because the way they got together was fucked up as well. i.e. meet fast then end up fucking already, so not a lasting foundation as there is no trust involved.

*Note: i have discussed this with the guys previously remember? when i asked u all if u'd fuck before marriage and all that....

moving on, just finished two days of work! or rather, going to work and not doing much. hope hope hope will have stuff to do soon because i'm bored stiff in the office. Workflow's probably going to be like constipation, initially nothing, not even a dry fart, then suddenly a torrential rain of diarrhea ceaselessly. >_<

wheeee...school's out and now attachment. half excited but sad cos' ended poly forever. (unless i kena retained) went for an actual class outing proper yesterday! first time since.....well... the class formed.

k abit lazy to post liao. soooo......went to swensens to eat, queued like a bitch before we could get in cos' there were.....15 of us. And the only reason we all even got together was because...... each person gets $5 a semester for outings and such, sponsored by the school, and so we're all so kiam we only went to have an outing cos' of the money we'd save culmulatively.

but not to end off on a sour note....i should be writing about sob story stuff and how i'll miss you guys and all.... :D and so on and so forth. kena molested by a frisky dwarf queen for no reason, and got laughed at for my excellent chinese as usual... sigh....yes i don't think i'll be missing class much...

Anyhow, day after that i went to recce workplace, found it and it's quite near lau pa sat/ tanjong pagar/ shenton way/meaning anyone working nearby pls jio me for lunch.

went shopping for formal clothes as well with my dad's hard earned gift vouchers. wheeeee but didn't manage to blow it all on some penguin suit. had fun these last days and now feeling abit apprehensive about shifting to a worker drone state. bleah. and also, marcus' commissioning parade is on sunday! congrats asshole! just have to not get kicked out for two more days and he'll be an officer in the SAF!

P.S. i think it's great how blogger allows resizing of pics, but not how it doesn't allow click+shift to maintain proportion. knn.

Yo-yo day
Wheee had an interesting day toda.....yesterday. Kinda didn't sleep the whole night previously because i was hooked on vampire: bloodlines. compelling storyline plus all the history is very interesting, so anyway, went to school feeling very drained, day started off horribly too.

took my ipod, for some reason tested it.....flat. was abit puzzled but not too worried, took my creative mp3 player.... flat. Fuck. went to school in a foul mood and no music feeling neurotic and edgy. >_<>not worried about that acronym because it'll always get mistaken for the stuff that fucks up the ozone) to quit my membership but was told i couldn't because some invisible clause says that i can only quit in April. -_-'

went over to cine's LJS for a bite then, saw a couple of american girls at the table next to mine blatantly casting looks at me. to be fair i was eyeballing them too, but only because one was hot and wore a short skirt. after a couple of minutes one (not the chio one) came over to try to pick me up by asking for a light and acting all "oh how do i use this" so i had to light for her.

i found it highly amusing because they BOTH have lighters on the table and there was a pile of smouldering butts littering the ground around them. oh well too bad i don't like foreign chicks. (stereotyping here) cos' oriental girls nicer! like a flower that takes years to bloom but lasts forever! rather than one that blooms beautifully in one season and then wilts and dies.

Edit: referring to physical beauty here cos' every1 knows i'm superficial! :)
Anyway, moral of the story is.......... carry a jet lighter around even if you don't smoke because it's a chick-magnet. wheeee!

part two of LJS adventure was shortly after they left, alas without exchanging numbers, a couple of jap schoolboys (or girls, can't tell for certain cos' they have girly faces) + a local down n' dirtah guide looking all hip-hop came up and sat at my table. The japanese guys were dressed like typical barker boys, messy tucked-out white shirt, ultra-baggy hiphugger pants, complete with typical funky hairstyles/colors (again, stereotyping here).

so then i was eavesdropping on them...and yes! if u go to japan, hair styles are based on seasons! so....if u go in the summer, get lighter colors an a shorter cut! vice versa for winter. and there's a new fashion magazine in the works called customs! yay! smatterings of conversations i overheard while walking along orchard.....hmm..... interesting topics, ranging from a crow landing on a girl's head to failing driving test 5 times. ahhhhhhhh life.

so anyhow that was my day, started off badass mangled up but turned out alright.....after cine i went home to sleep. and i just woke up and blogged. good morning!

ok yes i bought another pack of cigarettes. not proud of it so i didn't want to like tell people or blog HEY YES I'M SMOKING AGAIN! but since it's already on my blog oh well. i swear i'm going to beat the next asshole* who goes 'tsk tsk you're smoking again' and acts all high-and-mighty. fucking abrasive. (*applies only to guys) i can't even be bothered to say i'm still trying to quit because then some dickwad will go 'yeah right' and i'll just maybe break his knee. so if you're reading this and you know me, don't even mention it, seriously.

anyway, since i'm still miffed i can't really write about anything else sooo i shall just end off here.

day 6 of no smoking and i'm having cravings. but i think most of it is psychological so nvm. don't want to disappoint people (as if they really care), but more importantly don't want to fail myself in matters of self-discipline. beh.

anyway, was reading xiaxue's blog as usual, about the christian thing, and it previously didn't hit me on what a massive increase there was in rants againt over zealous christians forcing their view on people.

oh well. kinda agree, especially with all the purported miracles and faked (to me la) friendliness and sincerity. then when you don't agree they get all bitchy. and then from that blog link until this comic strip, Satan's salvation. quite...retarded. haven't read anything like that for a while so find it amusing. heh.

tutorial today was surprising cos' i kena scolded (by classmate, not lecturer), then tio stun. was initially a bit pissed then realised it was childish so forgot about it. after that went home sleep EIGHT hours straight! from 1 - 9. need to keep proper sleeping hours now... body cycle's totally misaligned...

ooyar, with the recent hoo-ha over kazaa and file sharing and all that it is strongly unadvisable to download stuff in the new year, especially music and video files from big record labels and movie studios, because they are the ones most likely to be bo liao enough to track u down.

this is pertinent more so with multimedia from the U ass of a. cos' FTA makes it easier for them to bug local service providers to cooperate. soooooo.... remember in the old days of p2p, first, napster, when they got into trouble, everyone switched to morpheus, then when they were getting screwed, to kazaa.....and now ares. whee. the power of piracy. and porn.
