I’ve calculated. At my monthly pay of $600, for the month of February even, which is the shortest month, I’m working 28 days a month, 8 hours a day. Minus the 3 days of Chinese New Year, would give me an hourly pay of….
600 dollars / 25 days / 8 hours a day =
$3 an hour.
I should work under the manual labour scheme. Work 15 days 600 bucks liao. It’s a carpenter’s life for meeee….. Anyway, another thought just struck me. If office boy apprentice job pays worse than carpenter boy’s job….. how much does carpenter boy apprentice earn?

Had a pretty uneventful chinese new year, now that i recall. barely did any visiting, cos' most of my relatives are from malaysia, and managed to miss the family dinner when said relatives came down. heh.
Leading a pretty insular lifestyle now, what with work, driving lessons and my new hobby, no time nor energy to go out. just shuttle to work, burn out a bit more, go home, repeat.
work du jour
Speaking of which, work stuff's really piling up man, alternating between omnipresent 'on-going' projects which require monthly status reports and all, and the supermegaultraurgent this or that which was due yesterday.
Oh well, people at work are quite fun so not that bad, still quite entertained. Anyway, after work today i had to rush down to BBDC for driving lesson, took a motherfucking cockster bloody crowded single-deck bus.

One thing you people should know (if u don't) about me, is that i'm claustrophobic in the sense i don't like crowded enclosed areas, i.e. chinatown last week, as i will break out in cold sweat and be put in a foul ass mood. Was cursing everyone who came on, everyone who came off, and occasional passerbys.
It didn't help that the asshole of a driver moves like petrol is free but braking isn't, so he keeps running up to a high speed and then only applying brakes when he's already halfway into each bus stop. Worst jerky abrupt moving off and stopping i've ever seen... everyone was like 'ooh! aah!' all the way and colliding into each other.
Then worse still, miss.i'll-grind-my-ass-on-your-cock came up with two friends, took up a position squarely in front of me and proceeded to keep swaying back and forth. (Note: was standing sideways in the bus, the standing area next to the exit) Thankfully i had my 7-eleven texas pepper chicken sandwich, strategically carried, to hump her with instead, even tho i ate it later.
Seriously wanted to get off and take a cab or something but i was broke and my ez-link card was negative value so i was well and truly stuck. Was almost about to take my logbook and batter my way to the front of the bus, to stab the driver in the eye with my mechanical pencil so he would suffer from lead poisoning, when finally!! people started getting off and i had enough space to sulk by myself and think of expletives for the rabid busmonster controlling the steering wheel.

Nearing the driving school, a couple of cute secondary schoolgirls came on and ended up standing next to me, which is the main reason i didn't go sit down, despite there being a few empty seats... Waited.
Waited for just one bus stop.
The bastard driver didn't disappoint. The two girls fell right on me when the bus shot off. Muahahaha!
Anyhow, sadly, i reached my stop shortly after, got off, got waved at. so i waved back. Now that i think about it, they are pretty cute, and seemed pretty interested in me too, which is totally understandable. Wasted, didn't get their numbers or something. Oh well, hopefully i'll bump into them on thursday (next lesson).

is CNY week now, been staying home alot and sleeping. heh. lazy to go out visiting, this way i can slack and save money at the same time. work's getting more and more like work, plowing through lots of stuff now.
The good thing is that there's always more work to do so i won't feel bored anymore, and before i know it, it's 6 and time to go home. whee.
not much else been happening. feel all tired out inside. guess i'm wearing out. turning into a recluse, losing contact with all my friends, but that's okay. i'll just take one day at a time.

SURVIVED a week over of attachment le. keep getting told things will heat up but i'm bored NOW! still have to do up my portfolio but i'll keep putting it off till friday i guess.
Life revolves around going for work now... sian ½. on the plus side, i'm getting an 'allowance'(can't say pay, anot minus cpf and what-not, plus we're actually losing money, cos' paying school fees to work -_-) to just sit in the office and do occasional make-work. But also takes up most of the week so i have little time to do anything else.
Won't go into too much detail of attachment because i'm petrified someone from there will discover this site. Suffice to say it's not that bad and will hopefully get better.
After work today, went BBDC for my second driving lesson, the first being more than a month ago, couldn't book any till today because of work schedule + all the slots booked liao. Knn now have to pay peak period charges for lessons... Anyway, had a really great instructor for this lesson, cheery guy. You learn more when you're relaxed.
Okay that's about it, gotta go to work early tomorrow cos' got client meeting. booo. hope they don't notice if i don't contribute. But i'm really excited about tomorrow because i will be meeting someone special for dinner! even if she is someone's someone, i feel all tingly inside just to be able to talk to her. ^-^
